1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored by websites or third parties in a browser. Similar browser technologies, such as local storage, can remember your preferences without placing a traditional cookie.
2. What this website uses
- Cookie-choice preference (necessary local storage):
hmfd_cookie_preference_v1remembers “Accept optional” or “Reject optional” and when the choice was made. It is saved in your browser and can be cleared by removing this site's data. - Site delivery and security: Cloudflare may use technical signals or security cookies as needed to protect and deliver the site.
- Optional Google advertising: If you accept optional cookies, the site may load Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure advertisements, possibly including interest-based advertisements.
3. Your choice
When you first visit, you can accept or reject optional advertising cookies. Rejecting does not block access to the tank checker, care guides, or Knowledge Library. Until you accept, the site does not intentionally load its Google AdSense script. Use to change this choice later.
If you previously accepted and then reject optional cookies, the page reloads to stop new advertising script requests. This does not itself delete cookies already placed by third parties. You can clear those cookies from your browser or change Google ad personalization through Google Ads Settings.
4. Third-party privacy practices
Google and other ad vendors may use cookies for ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement and personalization. See Google's advertising explanation and our Privacy Policy.
5. International visitors
Our simple on-site cookie choice does not replace a Google-certified consent management platform required for certain advertising uses in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. The website operator must configure the required AdSense consent platform before serving ads in those regions.
